Three small romantic ports in the town. Everything clean. Neighborhood but not too close to a giant hotel and resort facility. Food everywhere, prices low, traditional, european, streetfood etc. Small town, everything is reachable by foot. Many small super markets in town, bigger ones at the town limits. I would prefer a hotel or room not directly in the town center, because of my age. But for younger people it is ideal!

Marmaras is a gorgeous little town. It has numerous restorants, coffe shops, gift shops, etc. The town is very narrow and because of it, it is a bit difficult for walking but it has its natural charm.Gajic - 10Scored 10

Beautiful, peaceful seaside village with restaurants bar and small shops open. Hearing the sound of the sea from the balcony was so amazing. The room was great for a 2 night stay, hostess was welcoming warm and friendly & took great care of us during our stay. The room was stylish, clean and modern with just enough facilities for a short stay. Everything working perfectly well and the place felt calm and relaxing. The local Ta Kymata fish & seafood restaurant was outstanding - fresh, stylish & delicious food. Highly recommend Neos Marmaras for a stay in Halkidiki!

Lots of lovely bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. Not much public transport, but a fun train around town in the evening. A hilly area so not suitable for those with mobility problems. If you stay in the centre, the two closest beaches are a good 15-20 mins walk

Neos Marmaras was a really nice surprise for us.
Neos Marmaras was a really nice surprise for us. The city center is really great, you have a lot of places for shopping, really good tavernas/restaurants and it's a good place where you can relax after a day at the beach. The distance to the most popular beaches in Sithonia is between 30 mins - 1hour, so if you don't mind this, it's a great choice to have in mind for Sithonia.

She replied quickly on the booking.com chat service to co ordinate a check in time that was suitable for us and was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room and apartments in general are very clean and modern and the facilities are also to a high standard. Compared to other similar apartments I have stayed in around halkidiki it was very good value for money. Neos marmaras is a nice cosy seaside town that has a lot of charm to it and a good nightlife as well.JackIreland

The room was overlooking the sea, the beach was just nearby and with crystal clear waters. The location was perfect to explore Sithonia. We received excellent recommendations from Eleni (our hospitable and helpful host) which beaches and restaurants are worth visiting. Owners were helpful and easy to communicate with. There is a supermarket 2 minutes from accomodation. All of the beautiful beaches are in the radius of 30 km from Neos Marmaras so it is a great place to stay in Sithonia. Would highly recommend Kaplanis house for visitors, you will not be disappointed 😊
